State level boxing competition concluded at JNCT, Amrita from Bhopal bagged the Gold Medal.

The RGPV state level boxing competition which was organized at Jai Narayan College of Technology, Bhopal, concluded yesterday.
The competition featured matched under 48 kg, 51kg, 57 Kg and 60 kg categories for women.
Under the 48 Kg, state-level boxing competition, Payal student from Indore won the Gold medal whereas Ritu won the Silver medal. Under 51 kg Class, Mehak Solanki again from Indore got silver. Also, Shalini Sahu from Jabalpur got the silver medal. In the 57 kg, category Suman Raikwar from Rewa ranked first in the class. Amrita Sharma of Bhopal received the Gold Medal in the 60 kg class.

Indore stood as the overall champion in the women's categories. All the bouts were conducted by International coach Roshnalal G, from the sports academy, TT Nagar Stadium. According to organising secretary Anurag Chouke, all these winners will represent RGPV in All India Inter-University close competition.
Dr Manish Savley, Principal of JNCT College and Dean Administrator, B.L. Rai were also present in the state-level competition. All the participants were encouraged, and prize distribution ceremony felicitated by JNCT chairperson Mrs Poonam Chausse.-Window To News
