Tulsi Lemon Tea
Ingredients:
- 8-10 tulsi leaves
- 1 tsp - grated ginger
- 1 tsp - tea leaves
- 1 tsp - jaggery (gur)
- 1 tsp - lemon juice
- a pinch of black salt (sanchal)
- 1 tsp - black peppercorns (kalimirch)
Method :
- In a saucepan combine tulsi leaves, black pepper and ginger with 3 cups of water.
- Boil on medium low flame for ten minutes.
- Add tea leaves and remove from heat.
- Cover for 2 minutes and add jaggery.
- Strain and add salt and lemon juice.
- Serve immediately.
