Spiced Green Tea - Kahwa
Ingredients :
- 1 - kashmiri green tea bag
- a pinches of saffron (kesar) strands
- 2 - green cardamoms (elaichi) , lightly crushed
- 1/4 tsp - ground ginger
- 1 - cinnamon stick
- 2 - cloves (laung)
- 5 tbsp - honey
- 2-4 - Almond, finely sliced
Method:
- In a saucepan boil 3 cup water with green tea bag, cinnamon stick, cardamom,cloves, ground ginger, saffron and honey.
- Cover and leave to infuse over a very low flame.
- Remove the pan from heat and strain the tea into mugs.
- Sprinkle almonds and Serve hot.
