Simple Syrup Whiskey

Ingredient:
3 oz whiskey
Juice of 1 1/2 lemon
2 oz simple syrup
1 to 4 maraschino cherries
1 1/2 orange slice
Ice
Method:
Fill cocktail shaker half full of ice. Add whiskey, lemon juice and syrup. Shake until combined.
Strain mixture into glass filled halfway with ice.
Garnish with cherries and orange slice.
