Lemon and Orange Champagne Punch

Ingredient:
1 cup orange-flavored liqueur
1 cup fresh lemon juice
12 lemons
3/4 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup cognac
1/4 cup superfine sugar
1 bottle (750 ml) dry champagne or sparkling wine, chilled
Lemon and orange slices, if desired
Method:
In pitcher, mix lemon juice, orange liqueur, pineapple juice, cognac and sugar.
Refrigerate until serving time.
To serve, pour mixture into punch bowl. Stir in champagne.
Garnish with lemon and orange slices.
