“ASHIYANA” Exhibition on Art and Crafts in CRISP

Bhopal: Member of the Parliament Alok Sanjar and Chairman Madhya Pradesh Employment Board Hemant Deshmukh inaugurated a 2 day long exhibition ‘Ashiyana’ focusing art and crafts in CRISP campus today. The exhibition will remain open for the visitors tomorrow also from 11.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.

Artistic materials prepared by the budding young artists have been provided for sale in the exhibition. ‘Under the Bamboo Tree’ restaurant is the main center of attraction of the exhibition. People enjoyed the different delicacies being made available in the restaurant. Thirty two stalls of interior decoration, fashion designing, handicrafts, furniture and tiles etc. have been put up in the exhibition.

It may be highlighted that CRISP with the cooperation of the Union Ministry for Textile and State Government also runs design center focusing interior designing, garments and skill development in the field of designing and crafts in the campus. The CRISP has also started exporting the products of Indian artists in the international market with the cooperation of Ministry of Textile.-Windowtonews
