Italian cuisine with Bhopali Tadka: Italian Food Fest “Singh Saab Italy Return” Begins At Courtyard by Marriott

While over 100 countries are celebrating 2nd edition of Italian Cuisine between 20-26 November, the Courtyard by Marriott at DB City mall Bhopal has decided to join the bandwagon by announcing a 10 day Italian Food Fest. “Singh Saab Italy Return”, the food festival is ready to serve bhopalites from 24th of November at MoMo Café between 7.30 and 11 pm. This food fest will present wide spectrum of Italian delicacies to the food lovers in Bhopal. Italian cuisine expert Chef Sarvesh from JW Marriott Sahar Mumbai, as guest chef is ready to serve authentic Italian dishes.
Chef Sarvesh became popular as Singh Saab after his visit to Florence in Tuscan, Italy and lucky one who got the opportunity to open the fame restaurant at JW Sahar in Mumbai “Romano”. He travelled to Italy along with his Italian Master Chef to learn and understand the specific cuisine they wanted to showcase at “Romano”. He spent two long weeks in Florence Marriott with his chef and learnt the traditional Tuscan cuisine from renowned chefs, visit to vineyard, cheese makers, olive farm etc.
Talking to the media at a press conference here on Thursday Chef Sarvesh said “Italian food is all about flavour, colour and territory. The objective is to introduce and promote the foods and food habits of Italy among Bhopalites. Singh Saab Italy Return will give food lovers an opportunity to explore the unique Italian taste and products, such as pasta, risotto, olive oil and traditional cheeses and learn more about this fascinating culture.”
Elaborating the menu Chef Sarvesh said “The scrumptious Cream of Spinach and Mascarpone Cheese soup essentially serves as a smooth glide into the assortment of exotic dishes will greet the guests. For starters, there will be Roasted Bell Pepper Bruschetta, Sautéed Mushroom and Spinach with White Wine and Grilled Calamari with Chimichuri. The starters too will have a first glimpse to the effort that his team has invested in sourcing the best of ingredients and the culinary skills in impeccably retaining the authentic style of cooking”.
In the main menu highlights would be Eggplant Parmigiana, Vegetable Lasagane, Chicken Caccaitore and Lamb Ossobucco among other dishes, including stone-fired oven pizzas, he said. - Window To News
