People's College of Nursing and Research Centre organised 13th Lamp Lighting Ceremony

People’s College of Nursing and Research Centre of People’s University organised Lamp Lighting Ceremony for first batch of Bachelor of Science, Nursing and GNM students. This was the 13th lamp lighting ceremony organized by the institution. Dr. Anurag Yadav, Chairman, Anesthesia department, Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Center was the Chief Guest for the occasion. Other special   guests were Lt. Colonel Mrs. Beermati, Matron Military Hospital Bhopal, Mrs. Ramrati Yadav Nursing Superintendent Hamidia Hospital, Bhopal and other guests were welcomed by flowers. Program started by Saraswati Vandana sung by the students and followed by lightening of lamps by special guests.

On the beginning of this ceremony Dr. Prof. (Mrs.) Karesh Prasad Principal, People's College of Nursing and Research Centre, read the Annual Report and explained  the detailed activities of the college, such as NCC, NSS, Red Ribbon Club, Japaigo and activities of annual day.



Nursing pledge was administered to the students by Lt. Colonel Mrs Beermati. Prizes were distributed by special guest to winner students of annual day completive activities on this occasion.

The special guest Lt. Col. Mrs. Beermati encouraged new students and motivated them to work with passion. She said that no work will be impossible if you put passion in professional front. Mrs. Ramrati Yadav Nursing Superintendent Hamidia Hospital told students about the challenges in the field of nursing and urged students that they should work with true loyalty and respect.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Anurag Yadav, highlighted two main points among the students, first he realised students that they have the healing power in their smile and applauded that students should keep alive himself in everyday life in nursing professional for others.



At the end of ceremony Prof. Sunita Chaube proposed vote of thanks to all the guests, parents and student present in the program.
