'Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav' to be held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh from 26th February, 2018

Bhopal: The Ministry of Culture, Govt of India is organising the Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat matrix in IGRMS, Bhopal Madhya Pradesh from 26thFebruary. The panoramic cultural entourage will commence their journey with performance at bhopal ..The 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' programme was launched by the hon'ble Prime Minister ,to promote engagement amongst the people of different states/UTs so as to enhance mutual understanding and bonding between people of diverse cultures, thereby securing stronger unity and integrity of India. The State paired with Madhya Pradesh is Manipur and Nagaland.

The Mahotsav will commence from 26th feb at IGRMS, Bhopal  with 'folk fusion of guru Rewben from the Tangkhul Naga tribe of Manipur ,and Dhrupad bhakti sangeet with composition of diverse saints such as kabir by padmshree gurus gunecha bandhus accompanied  by shishyas shri sanjeev jha and manish kumar .

In the cultural showcase of North-East & Madhya Pradesh, utranchal , traditional artists will perform Pung Cholam dance, Lai Haroba dance, Kuki dance, khamba thoibi dance  and Dagar Vani etc.-Window To News
