'Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav' to be held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh from 26th February, 2018

Bhopal: The Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India is organising the 'Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav' under the 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat matrix' in five cities of Madhya Pradesh from 24th February. The panoramic cultural entourage has started with performance at Gwalior followed by performances in Bhopal, Indore, Orchha and conclusion at Shivpuri between 24th Feb to 04th March, 2018.
North central zone cultural centre is playing an important role in unity and preservation of cultural heritage of India. As per objectives of Ministry of Culture, an special event under the umbrella of Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav, the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Bhopal is organizing 'Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat' programme on 26th and 27th Feb. 2018 in its premises.
During this two day event, on 26th Feb. 2018, Pung Cholam of Manipur, Dhrupad presentation by Padamshri Gudecha Brothers, Sanjiv Jha and Manish kumar will be presented. On 27th Khamba Thoibe, Lai Haroba (special festival of Meities of Manipur) and Kathak dance by Vidhya Lal will be organized from 6.00 PM to 9.30 PM In addition to this, special handicraft festival will also be organized from 10 AM to 9.30 PM. In this festival, handmade products of Rajasthan, Punjab, Jharkhand, Hariyana, Manipur, Uttaranchal, Madhya Pradesh will be available for demonstration and sale.
