“Science in Daily Life” workshop at Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal

Bhopal, 10 May. Centre for Science and Communication of Rabindranath TAGORE University organised a one day workshop on “Science in Daily Life”. The lecture cum demonstration was conducted by Brajesh Dixit and Sunila Masih, Physiology-Biology Expert. Brajesh Dixit is renowned science communicator and patent holder of Hydraulic Centre Barrier (Accepted by Indian Railways) and Design patent of multifunctional compass. Brajesh Dixit explained principles of science by different experimental models. Famous Science Writer Er. Vinod Jain also addressed the workshop.
The book of famous science communicator and scientist Dr. Kapurmal Jain, “Banna Ek Vagyanik Ka” and a new issue of “Electroniki Aapke Liye” is based on Stephen Hawking released on this occasion. Electroniki Aapke Liye is unique hindi science magazine of AISECT Group based on electronics, computer science and new technology in country.
On this occasion Vice Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University Prof. A.K. Gwal said that university will organised these innovative programmes in future also. Shri Rag Telang, Director, Centre for Science Communication co-ordinated the workshop. He said workshop is an effort to the explained principle of science.
Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, Principal Engineering, Co-editor Electroniki Aapke Liye Mohan Sagoria, Ravi Jain and Faculty members, staff and students were present.
