Bhopal: Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya under the celebrations of its World Environment Day is organising various programmes and activities at its premises on 5th June, 2018. The day will began with a bicycle rally from Shyama Prasad Mukerji Park, Patrakaar Colony at 6.30am. After that Tree Plantation will be organized.
Sangrahalaya is organising a colloquium on 'Beat Plastic Pollution'. The key speaker of this colloquium is Dr. Sandesh Kumar Jain (Director, Central Institute of Plastic Engineering & Technology, Bhopal) at Rock Art conference hall from 4 pm.
A traditional object is displayed in the appearance for a whole month. The exhibit for the month of June, 2018 is "Leephan", 'Leephan' (Lee = cane; Phan =table), literally means table made of cane. Exhibit of the month will be inaugurated by Dr. Sandesh Kumar Jain on Tuesday, 5th June, 2018, at Veethi Sankul indoor exhibition building. This exhibition is being mounted by Dr. Ashok Kumar Sharma (Assistant Keeper).
The results of a competitive event 'Treasure Hunt' that was organised on the occasion of International Museum Day on 18th May 2018, at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya. This competition was categorized into two groups; for general public and for the Sangrahalaya staff. The winners will be awarded on World Environment Day programme (5 June).-Window To News
