CM Chouhan to participate in state-level programme in Bhopal
Bhopal: Various programmes will be held on a large scale on the fourth International Yoga Day on June 21 in the state. The Yoga presentation programme will be organized all over the state simultaneously. The state-level programme will be organized at Lal Parade Ground. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be the chief guest at the programme and Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Dr. Thawarchand Gehlot will preside over.
The timings of the programme have been revised. The participants will now be present for the state-level programme at 6 am. at Lal Parade Ground. The guests will arrive at 6.10 am., the national song Vande Mataram will be sung at 6.10 am, the Union Minister will address at 6.18 am, the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s address will be from 6.25 am and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address from 6.40 am to 7 am. General Yoga Practise will be held from 7 am to 7.45 till the end of the programme. State’s ministers will also take part in the mass yoga programme to be organized at district level on June 21 on International Yoga Day. State government has allotted districts to ministers.
The film made on International Yoga Day will be made available on the School Education Department portal www.educationportal.mp.gov.in. Students from Class VII to Class XII of government and non-government schools will be able to take part in the Yoga presentation programme. Besides representatives of Ayurvedic, Unani, Homoepathic and allopathic, private and government medical college, nursing college, Krishi Mahavidyalaya, Veterinary College, Engineering College, Polytechnic, NSS, NCC Cadets, policemen, government servants, voluntary organizations, commercial and industrial organizations have also been told to participate in the programme. Ministers, MPs and MLAs will also be present in the programme. Instructions have been issued to the Women and child Development Department to ensure maximum participation of women in the mass Yoga programme.
Apart from school, college students, Yoga institutes, NSS, NCC, policemen, government servants, public representatives and general public will also participate in the mass yoga programme on June 21 at the state, district, block and panchayat level. The programme will be hald between 7 am to 8 am. The Central AYUSH Department has prepared a booklet and film on the Yogasanas to be performed during the mass Yoga programme which has been uploaded on the website www.indianmedicine.nic.in.
Special arrangements have been made for disabled persons during the mass Yoga presentation programme. The School Education Department has been made the nodal department of the programme.-Window To News
