Celebrate International Day of Yoga-2018

Bhopal: On the occasion of International Day of Yoga, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya with support from M.P. Govt. Yoga Training Centre, Bhopal organised a special programme on Yoga. The On this ocassion Joint Director & Head of Office, IGRMS, . Dilip Singh said "We all should inculcate Yoga in our day to day life, Yoga is a lifestyle. I hope everyone present here today will continue to practice Yoga and lead a happy-healthy long life".
Yoga Guru Devilal Bharti (MP Govt Yoga Training Centre, Bhopal) firstly delivered a brief lecture on merits of Yoga and later they imparted training of various Asanas as per 'Common Yoga Protocol 2018' released by Ministry of Ayush, Govt of India, like Padahastasana, Ardha Chakrasana, Trikonasana, Vajrasana, Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Ardha Ushtrasana, Ushtrasana, Shashankasana, Uttana Mandukasana, Vakrasana, Bhujangasana, Setubandhasana, Shalabhasana, Uttanapadasana, Ardha Halasana, Makarasana, Bhadrasana, Baddha Konasana, Pavan Muktasana, Shavasana, Nadi Shodhana, Sheetali Pranayama, Brahmari Pranayama, Kapalbhati, Dhyana/Meditation, etc. While explaining the Asanas, the yogagurus also explained the positive impacts of different asanas.
On this occasion chief guest of the programme, Yogacharya Dr. Phoolchand Jain "Yogiraaj" explained the importance of yoga by giving an example of the events and consequences of yoga described in Ramayana, Geeta and Indian philosophy. After the Yoga practice, Nutritious snacks were served to all participants. The programme was coordinated by Dipak Choudhary (Conservation Associate) and S.K. Singh (Conservation Associate) delivered the vote of thanks.-Window To News
