‘Divyang’ childrens of SOS Balgram celebrated Foundation Day

Bhopal, (WTN): Divyang children living in SOS Balgram, Khajurikalan Bhopal celebrated Baalgram Foundation Day with full enthusiasm. This day celebrated in SOS across the country every year on the occasion of birthday of the founder of SOS Balgram Dr. Hermann Gmeiner. Various competitions were organised for the children with special needs on this occasion and the winners and the girls cleared high school examination this year were awarded by Tapan Bhowmik, Chairman Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation and Chief Guest of the program. Other guests were O.P. Bansal, President Laxmipati Group of Colleges and senior journalist Ravindra Soni, Mr. Ehteshamuddin, Sports Director, Special Olympic Madhya Pradesh, promoted children by awarding medals and awards.

On this occasion Mr. Tapan Bhowmick, Chief Guest of the program, said that serving the children with 'special need' is similar to serving God and today I have fell the homely atmosphere at SOS where children getting well treatment and care by staff to the divyang childrens. He added that SOS Balgram management is liable for appreciation for these services at Balagram. He is always ready to make possible cooperation for the rehabilitation and management of these children.

Addressing the gathering, O.P. Bansal said that education institutes of his group will surely make every possible effort for the development of these special children. He also circulated his best wishes to the children of Balagram who will participate in Special Olympics 2019."
