State Government to acquire land for expressway
JULY 26 (WTN) - Madhya Pradesh's first expressway is going to be built between Bhopal-Indore. The State Government has asked the Road Development Corporation for route survey for this expressway. For your information, let you know that the Road Development Corporation will decide where the roads will pass through. The state government will acquire and compensate the private land for this project while the central government will bear the rest of the cost.
The central government has given the project theoretical consent with the condition that the state government will have to undertake land acquisition, after that the central government will bear the cost of constructing the road. As the state government has to compensate by seizing the private land, so the government is trying to select the way where the private land comes minimum.
Madhya Pradesh's first expressway will be absolutely direct that there will be no turnaround. For your information, let you know that the there is limited reaching to the expressway, i.e., vehicles’ accessible to the expressway form certain places. No other road passes through the expressway and joins it so that accidents can be avoided. If the Bhopal-Indore expressway is built then the distance of Indore from Bhopal will be covered in just two hours.
The government has set a budget of three thousand crores for this expressway. This road will go through Bhopal's 11 miles, Kolar and Bhauri area to Indore Airport. Hope, if the Bhopal-Indore expressway starts in the scheduled time, then there will be saving of time and fuel.
