Construction of 100 bed hospital to be started at Karond soon: MoS Sarang

Bhopal: Minister of State for Cooperative, Bhopal Gas Tragedy, Relief and Rehabilitation (Independent Charge) Vishwas Sarang has said that construction of 100 bed hospital will be started at Karond soon. While inspecting the construction site of the hospital, Sarang mentioned that the hospital will have facility of 10 doctors’ OPD, O.T., X-Ray Room besides other facilities at the first floor. The Hospital campus will also have quarters for doctors and para medical staff.
Sarang gave directives that a plan for parking, canteen and other necessary facilities in the hospital should be prepared. Hospital should be constructed in phase manner but everything should be planned together. The Horticulture Department was also directed for green and clean hospital campus.
Furthermore, the MoS Sarang said that Karond is a suburb area. Population of this area visit Government J.P. Hospital and Hamidia Hospital to avail medical services. People of Karond area were facing problem since long time as there was no hospital in the area. Sarang informed that 44 thousand 360 square feet area has been kept reserved for hospital near Karond square. He further informed that people residing in hundred of villages situated at Bhopal-Berasia, Bhopal-Vidisha, Bhopal-Narsinghgarh Road besides Karond area will get medical facility from the Karond Hospital.-Window To News
