Kids celebrated ‘Gurupurnima’ with teachers at Mom2Mom School

Bhopal (WTN). The importance of teachers in our life is more than that of god. Teachers are the one who leads children path from ignorant darkness to knowledgeable light. Teachers are the guides who give new directions to the students so we must respect them always not only on a special day. This was the theme of Guru Purnima program held at ‘Mom to Mom’ School today where children honoured their teachers with respect and love.
All the kids were dressed in white to mark the auspicious day and created wall arts which they decorated with the collages of their teachers. Apart from this, the children expressed their feelings about their teachers with the help of Guru Vandana (Prayer).
Principal of Mom to Mom School Preeti Verma said that the purpose behind organising such a program is to make kids realise the importance their teachers. She said that it is important for children to know how they should always respect their teachers and helpful at any juncture of life. Such type of celebrations make kids in touch with our rich heritage and make them realise the importance of blessings.
