Government allocates bungalow to the three former Chief Ministers except Digvijay Singh

JULY 28 (WTN) - In the state of Madhya Pradesh, once again, there is ‘controversy’ in politics. Actually the matter is the allocating of the government bungalow to the former chief ministers in Bhopal. In fact, the state government has allocated the government bungalow, expect ex-chief minister Digvijay Singh, to the remaining three former Chief Ministers, Kailash Joshi, Uma Bharati and Babulal Gaur, in the category of dignitaries, but now all of them have to pay rent in the bungalows.

The bungalows have been allotted to the three former chief ministers of the BJP, but the matter goes political hot, when no action has been taken on the letter written to the Chief Secretary of the Madhya Pardesh form former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh.

According to information received from the media, Digvijay Singh has written a letter to the Chief Secretary asking a office for the staff. However, according to sources, Digvijay's letter has not been answered by the government.

For your information, let you know that on the instructions of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, the Home Department has issued orders for housing allocation. That is because the Madhya Pradesh High Court has pronounced the provision of free lifetime government housing facility to the former Chief Ministers as illegal, while pronouncing a verdict on a PIL, and ordered to take action in one month.

These days, there has been political turmoil between Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh. Digvijay Singh has alleged that Shivraj Singh called him ‘anti nationalist’. Shivraj Singh's allegedly saying Digvijay ‘anti nationalist’, and now the issue of not allocating the government bungalow has been boiled in the politics of Madhya Pradesh.
