The veterinarian to come on a call for home treatment

AUG 03 (WTN) - So far you have heard in abroad that a veterinary doctor comes on a call to treat your pet and give medicine. But now it is going to happen in the Madhya Pradesh. According to the state government, now the cattle owners will not need to take their animals in the hospital if they are ill.

For this, the Madhya Pradesh government has started a new scheme called ‘Pashu Sanjivani’. In this scheme, after giving information of your ill pet on toll free number 1962, the veterinary doctor will come for treatment to your pet in a notice by van from nearby development block. In that van, there will be veterinary doctor, Para-medical staff, necessary medicines and if needed so ‘gau rakshak’.

Madhya Pradesh government's ambitious ‘Pashu Sanjivani’ scheme is going to be implemented in whole of Madhya Pradesh from August 15. Under this scheme animals will be treated for free.

According to the information received from the media, as a pilot project this scheme was first introduced in eleven districts, but it was having problems in getting phone calls. But now these difficulties have been sorted. Now every development block will have a van which will be attached to the call center.

According to the information, considering the level of animal disease, it will be decided how many hours to see the sick animal. The entire information will be sent to the cattle owner through an SMS. The vehicle will be outsourced for the ‘Pashu Sanjivani ‘scheme.
