Message of 'Gift an Organ' given by CII-YI, Bhopal

A week long awareness program for organ donation in association with several institutions
 
August 12 (WTN) With the aim of making people aware of Organ Donation, the Young Indians Organ Donation Week ended with 'Gift N Organ' motorcycle rally in Bhopal. CII-YI Gift N Organ National Chair, Rakesh Bhargava, told that CII-Yi tried to make people aware about organ donation through various programs in this awareness week.
 
Bhopal Chair of CII-YI Saurabh Sharma told that this awareness week started on 5th August with bike rally from DB Mall parking to Lal Ghati. This rally was supported by the Born to Ride Group. On August 6, the 'Gift N Organ' session was organised in the Oriental Group of Institutes where 2000 students knew the value of organ donation. On August 7, this session was organized with 1500 students and faculty of L.N.C.T in the college.
 


Apart from 650 students in Career College on August 11, a special session was also organised with various institutions in Hotel Palash on the awareness about organ donation. Gift N Organ Chair Prashant Tiwari conducted various sessions for awareness, co-chair Ashish Patel and Dr. Rakesh Bhargava collaborated with them.



During this week long program of CII-YI, trainers of various gymnasiums like MI gym, Nidaan gym, gold gym etc in Bhopal was also given information under this special awareness campaign. CII-YII co-chair Apoorva Malviya said that there are many misconceptions about organ donation in general. But it is not as difficult as seems. He told that 8 types of organs can be donated. One person can save 8 lives. He explained that various organ or body parts such as heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, eyes, pancreas, intestine ​​and skin can be donated.
