Pays tribute by garlanding statue
Bhopal: The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid obeisance to the Former President Late Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma on his 100th Birth Day. He paid tribute by garlanding statue installed at Ret Ghat today.
Chouhan said that the Birth Centenary of Late Dr. Sharma will be observed with full reverence and respect. The state government will organize inspirational programmes. Programmes will be decided by the committee to be constituted in this connection. The Mayor Alok Sharma and MLA Surendra Nath Singh were also present on the occasion.
The Chie Minister further stated that Late Sharma was an identity of Bhopal. Bhopal is proud of his personality and accomplishments. Enriched with multi talent, great scholar and the leader of the merger revolution, Late Dr. Sharma was such a literate personality that could not be compared with anyone. Late Dr. Sharma discharged the duties with honesty and devotion according to the grace and dignity of the posts held by him.
Birth Centenary of Smt. Vijay Raje Scindia to be observed
CM Chouhan said that the Birth Centenary of Late Smt. Vijay Raje Scindia will also be observed with devotion in the state this year. He mentioned that Smt. Vijay Raje Scindia gave a new identity to the Bhartiya Jan Sangh. We are full of devotion and devoutness towards her too.-Window To News
