Governor ties Rakhi to Chief Minister and 500 persons

Bhopal: The Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel tied Rakhi to the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and approximately 500 persons including various social, voluntary and welfare organizations besides males and females on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. She also extended Raksha Bandhan greetings to all on this occasion. Moreover the Governor also sent Rakhis to the soldiers of Dronachal Centre of Army located in Bhopal.
The Governor visited CM House and tied Rakhi to CM Chouhan. CM’s wife Smt. Sadhna Singh and family members were present on the occasion.
It may be mentioned that people, who visited the Raj Bhavan for Rakhi included speech and hearing impaired besides mentally challenged children of Asha Niketan, women of reformatory home of Woman and Child Development Department, disabled children of Arushi Sanstha, handicapped children of SOS Balgram, students of Barkatullah Vishvavidyalaya, children of Bal Niketan and jawans of Rajbhavan Police barrack.
The Governor Smt. Patel distributed prizes to the winner students of Raj Bhavan Rakhi competition. She also distributed sarees to the 4th class employees of the Raj Bhavan.-Window To News
