Bhopal: One of the most senior officials of Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Mrs. Kiranbala Sharma, (Office Superintendent) retired today. Mrs. Sharma joined Manav Sangrahalaya in 1984 as a Junior Clerk. During the tenure of his nearly three-and-a-half decade, Mrs. Sharma successfully completed the work of appointment, posting, promotion, etc. on the post of Senior Clerk, Junior Accountant and Office Superintendent. She is credited for giving excellent training to junior officials, which was mentioned by several officers in their speech. The ability to edit his administrative work can be known from the fact that at the time of his appointment, only 20 personnel were employed in this museum, while more than 250 personnel were employed during her retirement.
On the occasion of the retirement ceremony, Dilip Singh (Joint Director, IGRMS) honoured Mrs. Kiran Bala Sharma by gifting her Shawl, Quince etc and said that "the office superintendent is the main pillar of the office, Mrs. Sharma has worked sincerely on her duties". On this occasion a large number of officers and employees were present and they shared their thoughts and experiences. The programme was coordinated by Sudhir Shrivastava (Librarian).
At the end of the programme, D.D. Senapati, (Vice President of Employee co-operative Society, IGRMS) gave cheque his contribution and deposits.

Change in visiting Times
The visiting times of the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya are changing from 1st September, 2018. The new timings from 1st September, 2018 to 28th February, 2018 for all the open air and indoor exhibitions of the Manav Sangrahalaya will be open from 10.00 am to 5.30 pm. The Sangrahalaya would remain closed on Mondays and all National Holidays.-Window To News
