Women of ward 29 and 32 tie rakhis to Gupta
Bhopal: Women of Ward 29 and 32 tied rakhis to Revenue, Science and Technology Minister Umashankar Gupta enthusiastically. Gupta said that the safety of women is our responsibility. Gupta distributed sarees to the women who tied rakhis to him.
Gupta said that the government has launched several schemes for the welfare of women. He said that girls are becoming millionaires since birth these days. Their marriages are being conducted under Mukhya Mantri Vivah/Nikah Yojana. Free domestic gas connections are being given under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana to rid women from smoke. Arrangement of free treatment has been made for the women. Women are being provided Rs 4 thousand during pregnancy and Rs 12 thousand post delivery for nutritious meal under Sambal Yojana.
