Video conference held on new amendments of Land Revenue Code

Bhopal: The Chief Secretary Basant Pratap Singh addressed a video conference held at Mantralaya today in connection to the new amendments in Madhya Pradesh Land Revenue Code. All the Divisional Commissioners, District Collectors and Revenue officers participated in the video conference.
The CS Singh has informed that the amended provisions will come into force from September 25, 2018. Paying special focus on Urban Land Management, new definitions have also been included in the revenue code. Amendments have been made in various sections in order to simplify working procedures related to the common man. He further said that in context to the amendments, there is a need to pay special attention on training of revenue officers. Information in detail has been given on amendments related to land use diversion, mutation, demarcation and regarding payment of land revenue duringthe video conference.-Window To News
