Bhopal: The National Institute of Design, Bhopal will be declared as Institution of National Importance. The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has today given its approval for the same at New Delhi. The Cabinet has approved bringing amendment to N.I.D. Act, 2014.
Declaring of N.I.D. in Madhya Pradesh as institution of national importance will produce highly skilled manpower in design. It will provide design resources for Crafts, Handloom, Rural Technology, Small, Medium and Large Scale enterprises in the state and create both direct and indirect job opportunities.-Window To News
