Bhopal: Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sanghralaya organised a street play, film exhibition, Quiz and special cleaning active along with the Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Bhopal at Veethi Sankul premises.
The director of the IGRMS, Prof. Sarit Kumar Chaudhuri addressing the Nukkad natak organized on the Swachhta Abhiyan and Paryatan Parv said that first of all, we have to change ourselves, we have to be self-aware and will have to take a vow to keep this entire area clean and clean like our own house. Marathon walk
After that IGRMS organised a marathon walk under the 2nd Swachhta Phawada-2018 from 4 PM onwards. The walk commenced from Aavritti bhawan area of museum and continued till Boat Club; during the walk participating employees and officers spread messages of cleanliness through slogans. Everyone collected the garbage spread on the route and disposed it properly. The tourists present at the Boat Club appreciated Sangrahalaya's initiative.
On this occasion Shri Deepak Kumar Chaudhari, Program Coordinator Explaining to the Handcart sellers, said that "In the garbage plastic, glass, metals, paper etc. is such garbage that can be recycled. The remaining lot of garbage is biomass, which we can make manure by pressing in a pit for the garden. Such waste that can be a recycler, he can be collected separately in a box and given to the Kabaadi. Without government help, we can keep our area clean by mutual cooperation.
