CM Chouhan immerses Lord Ganesha’s idol at Prempura Ghat

Bhopal: The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan immersed Lord Ganesha’s idol at Prempura Ghat. The Minister for Public Works Rampal Singh, wife of the CM Smt. Sadhna Singh Chouhan, family members and members of his personal staff participated in the procession. The President of Municipal Corporation Surjeet Singh Chouhan and devotees in large number were also present on the occasion.
The procession raising slogan ‘Ganpati Bappa Mourya- Agle Baras Tu Jaldi Aa’ started from the CM House, reached immersion site traversing through Polytechnic Square, Roshanpura, New Market, Rangmahal Talkies, Jawahar Chowk Depot Square and Bhadbhada Square. The Chief Minister and Mandli of Bhajan Singers recited Ganpati Vandana and slogans in praise of Lord Ganesh throughout the procession.
The idol of Lord Ganesha was immersed with Maha Arti at Prempura Ghat. Smt. Sadhna Singh Chouhan distributed Prasad among the devotees. The entire atmosphere was filled with devotion and exuberance. The devotees while expressing their devotion showered flowers at various places and raised slogans in praise of Ganpati Bappa.-Window To News
