WTN- MP Government has transferred two IPS Officers , IPS Purushottam Sharma , Additional Director General of Police, Police Reforms, Police Headquarter, Bhopal. IPS Anil Kumar – ADG, Special Police Establishment, Lokayukt Organisation, Bhopal and. Both are 1986 batch IPS officers.
IPS Purushottam Sharma has been made Special Director General , Cooperative Fraud, Lok Seva Guarantee and RTI, Police Headquarters, Bhopal and IPS Anil Kumar is now Director General, Special Police Establishment, Lokayukt Organisation, Bhopal.
IPS Purushottam Sharma is BE (Hon) Electronics, BITS Pilani, MBA from UK and also ho;ds degrees of LLB & LLM. He proved his mettle in his very first positing as ASP of Indore where he streamlined the turbulent traffic of Indore city & A.B. Road by technical improvements in electronic signal system. He was praised for his guts for raiding "Satta Mafia" and for his prompt and intelligent handling of communal clash during "Milad-ul-Nabi" procession that averted a, major communal riot. IPS Anil Kumar also has a distinguished career since joining Indian Police Services.
