Announcement of assembly elections dates for five states, including Madhya Pradesh
Voting to be held in the one phase in MP, results on December 11
OCT 06 (WTN) - The Election Commission has announced the dates for assembly elections for five states, including Madhya Pradesh. In the months of November and December in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram, the entire process of elections will be completed. The election results of all the five states will be announced simultaneously on December 11. With the announcement of Election Commission, election code of conduct has been implemented in these five states since today
Voting will be held on all 230 seats in Madhya Pradesh on November 28 in the same phase. The last date for filing nominations is 9 November, while names will be withdrawn until November 14. Voting will take place on November 28 in Madhya Pradesh. Mizoram will also be voted with Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Election Commissioner OP Rawat in the press conference informed that the election process will be completed before December 15. He told that the modern EVMs and VVPATs will be used in the elections. Videography of polling will also be done.
