Governor appeals guests during meeting to gift books
Bhopal: The New Market traders association will gift books to the Governor Anandiben Patel on the eve of her 78th birthday. The Governor will visit the shops in New Market and receive books from the traders at 4 pm on November 20, 2018.
Books received by the Governor will be distributed in about 800 schools of Bhopal, where there is no library or in schools lacking in books.
It is noteworthy that the Padhe Bhopal programme was organized on the Governor's appeal. The programme was organized in various schools, colleges and universities of Bhopal city on October 9 in which around 2 lakh 33 thousand 576 people took part. This programme bagged the World Book of Records, London. This step has been taken to maintain the success of this programme and take it forward.
The Governor has appealed to dignitaries and volunteer organizations coming to gift her with books instead of bouquets.-Window To News
