Bhopal (WTN): Startup is the buzz word amongst youth these days. Every youngster has this dream of starting his own company, but it is always easy to dream then to execute. A startup has to go through a ton of challenges, and amongst all of them one of the most daunting one is the lack of information about the Basics of Business Economics.

Keeping this in mind, city's Startup Incubation Centre AIC AARTECH organised a seminar for startups, named 'Economics 101'. Approximately 10 startups took part in the workshop. In this workshop, these teams got acquainted with basic terminology of business economics and also with certain thumb rules of Business Economics. They also got to learn about the significance of learning such concepts and how these concepts play important role in boosting of their startup.

Amit Raje, CEO of AIC AARTECH said that economic understanding is the basis of any business. These startups are quite new and most of them do not even know the basic terminology of economics. And, it becomes altogether a lot tougher when it comes to business economics, it is actually difficult to understand its terminology let alone handle it. This is the reason why this workshop was organized and is so important.

Raje added, that though little tough at first but Basic of Economics is not a rocket science. Once you understand its basics well and start implementing it, it plays an important role in strengthening of your startup. He said that basic knowledge of economics is very important for any startup and we hope that the upcoming startups start learning about the basics which will help them handle their startups better.
