Rashtriya Bal Rang in Bhopal on December 19

Children of various states to take part in Bal Rang 

Bhopal: Rashtriya Bal Rang is being organized at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sanghralaya, Shyamla Hills, Bhopal under the joint aegis of School Education Department and Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sanghralaya from December 19 to 21.

State level competitions including cultural, literary, yoga, sanskrit, madarsa and for handicapped children will be held on December 19. As many as one thousand school students and teachers will take part in the competitions. Whichever division will secure first position in the folk dance competition will present folk dance on behalf of the State Government in the Rashtriya Bal Rang Competition. Cash rewards of Rs. 51 thousand, Rs. Rs. 31 thousand and Rs. 21 thousand will be given to teams securing first, second and third positions respectively in Rashtriya Folk Dance competition.

Approximately 400 participants of 10 states, 8 north-eastern states and 2 union territories are takin part in the Rashtriya Bal Rang. In order to make it more appealing, Laghu Bharat, Gouravmayi Bharat, Samarth Bharat, Food Zone, Scouts Camp and Craft Zone exhibition is also being put up this year too.-Window To News
