Governor calls on North-East school children

Bhopal: Students from North-Eastern states, who participated in Balrang- 2018, met honorable Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Anandiben Patel in leadership of Prof Sarit Kumar Chaudhuri (Director, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya). Governor thanked Prof. Chaudhuri for inviting students from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas of far flung areas of North-East and was amazed to know that the school children travelled five days straight to reach Bhopal. The students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya of all eight north-eastern states greeted the Governor with bouquets. The Governor gave students the best wishes of New Year.
On this occasion, 159 students of Navodaya Vidyalaya, programme coordinator Balrang Rakesh Bhatt, P.S. Sardar (Representative of Commissioner, NVS, New Delhi & Deputy Commissioner, NVS), Vikash Kumar Shahwal, IPS (ADC), Dilip Singh, ITS (Joint Director, IGRMS) and officials of Raj Bhawan & Manav Sangrahalaya were present.-Window To News
