State level competition held on first day of 3 day Bal Rang

School students presented division wise cultural programmes 

Bhopal: A three day Bal Rang Samaroh began today at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sanghralaya, Shyamla Hills, Bhopal. State level competitions held on the first day of Samaroh. School students of various divisions gave cultural presentations in the competition.

The Commissioner Public Instructions Jaishree Kiyawat inaugurated the samaroh. Kiyawat said that Balrang has carved a special identity in the country for Madhya Pradesh. She mentioned that Bal rang is a grand festival for children to learn and teach different activities. She expressed hope that students while taking inspiration from the glorified cultural heritage of the country like dances and songs besides other arts will showcase better presentations at big platforms.

On the first day of Bal Rang Samaroh, cultural, literary, Sanskrit and yoga presentations were given by the children. Presentations given by the handicapped children in these competitions were the center of attraction. Laghu Bharat exhibition was also started from today. Cultural and traditions of various states were displayed in an attractive way in the exhibition. Under the Samarth Exhibition, various schemes and activities were showcased in a captivating manner by the students. Stalls of famous cuisines of the state have also been put up by the students in Bal Rang. National folk dance competition will be held on December 20 and 21 during the Bal Rang Samaroh. Information about jungle camp, river crossing, monkey-bridge and commando bridge is being given to students in the scouts camp.

Governor to inaugurate Bal Rang Samaroh
The Governor Anandiben Patel will inaugurate Rashtriya Bal Rang Samaroh at Manav Sanghralay at 10.00 a.m. on December 20. School students of Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Telangana, Karnataka, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura and Manipur states along with two union territories Dadar and Nagar Haveli and Delhi are participating in the Rashtriya Bal rang Samaroh. Presentations of folk dances of various states will be showcased during the Rashtriya Bal Rang Samaroh.-Window To News
