Sardar Patel’s statue established by Gujarati Samaj unveiled 

Bhopal: Unveiling the statue of the country’s first Deputy Prime Minister Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel here today, Governor Anandiben Patel said that Sardar Patel had given the slogan of “Ek Rashtra-Shrestha Rashtra”. Following this, every citizen and the society make his contribution in making the country best and coordinated. She said that Sardar Patel had a very important contribution in the integration of India. That's why he is said to be the Iron Man of India the Governor felicitated elite citizens, meritorious students and women entrepreneurs who made outstanding contributions in social work at the function organized by the Madhya Pradesh unit of Akhil Bharatiya Gujarati Samaj.

Patel said that Sardar Patel was a distinctive personality. His ideas still inspire millions of youth in the country. Sardar Patel was such a great leader of the country, who had dedicated everything for national unity. The Governor told the youth to understand Sardar Patel's thoughts and follow them. Patel advised the social organizations to pay special attention to cleanliness and distribute fruits etc. to poor children on occasions such as birthdays. She told that everyone must go to see the world's tallest statue of Sardar Patel, established by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Gujarat, along with the children during the holidays.

President of Madhya Pradesh unit of Akhil Bharatiya Gujarati Samaj Sanjay Bhai Patel told that Rs one lakh has been deposited in every hospital for the treatment of all patients of the Samaj. He said that apart from organizing tree plantation programmes and making education facilities available, the Samaj is making members of the Samaj aware of traffic rules and its importance.
