DPS children tour Kathotia jungle camp

Bhopal: As many as 80 students of Delhi Public School, Bhopal thoroughly enjoyed Kathotia jungle camp developed 17 km away from Bhopal by Eco Tourism Board. The children acively took part in rope walking, bells of rope, rappelling and other adventurous activities.
The Board took the children on a tour of the village and rock paintings during the jungle camp. The officials-employees of the Board also gave information to the students about the efforts being made for forest and wildlife protection, its usefulness and conservation for life. The Board gave jobs to the local persons for making food arrangements. They prepared Dal-Baafle and other local delicacies in their style and served it to the children who savoured it.
It may be noted that the Eco Tourism Board is undertaking various adventurous activities in the jungle camp at Kathotia, Samardha and Kerwa around Bhopal. Apart from enjoying nature, people are also enjoying tourism.-Window To News
