Save fuel for secured future: PR Minister Sharma

Administers oath to conserve fuel 

Bhopal: Minister for Public Relations, Law and Legislative Affairs, Science and Technology, Aviation, Religious Trusts and Endowment P.C. Sharma said that it is most important to conserve fuel for secured future. He was addressing the Eedhan Sanrakshan Kshamta Mahotsav ‘Saksham’ at Samanvay Bhavan today. On this occasion, he also administered oath to the people present at the programme for fuel conservation. Sharma inaugurated the campaign being conducted for conservation of fuel from January 16 to February 15.

Minister Sharma mentioned that at present 80 percent petroleum products are being imported from abroad and exorbitant money is spent on this. He further stated that money saved by fuel conservation will be invested to establish industries and business and utilised in public welfare works. Sharma asserted that we can include cycling in our daily routine to save fuel. We can save fuel by building bypass and service roads to avoid fuel wastage on red signals. He told the Chief General Manager of the Petroleum Conservation Research Association, Vigyan Kumar to give a thought for taking necessary measures to control increasing prices of petroleum products.-Window To News
