Grant to be given and honorarium to be increased too: Minister Sharma

Bhopal: Minister for Religious Trusts and Endowment, Public Relations, Law and Legislative Affairs, Science and Technology, Aviation P.C. Sharma, while addressing the Foundation day of Madhya Pradesh Sant Pujari Mahasangh today said that the state government is planning to increase honorarium of Pujaris upto five times shortly. He also said that grant for maintenance and conservation of temples will be given.
Sharma further mentioned that problems related to Sant-Pujaris and religious places will be resolved soon. He stated that the Adhyatm Department has been constituted by the government. Steps are being taken to redress all the problems. A memorandum was handed over by the Pujaris to Sharma at the programme. Sharma assured that that every possible effort will be made to fulfill demands after the deliberations.
Coporator Yogendra Singh Chouhan, Vice President of Sant Pujari sangh Jagdish Sharma, Narendra Dixit, Rakesh Chaturvedi, Dhruv Narayan and other Pujaris were present at the programme.-Window To News
