Now District Mineral Funds to be spent on basic arrangements in all 52 districts including Bhopal

JAN 23 (WTN) – Since the formation of Kamal Nath Government in Madhya Pradesh, the state government is struggling with the financial crisis. As you know, there is limited budget for the development works due to the limited resources of income and debt over the state. In this way, in addition to restraining the fiscal deficit, the Kamal Nath government in Madhya Pradesh is going through a strategy to focus on basic development works.

According to the information, the basic arrangements like education, health and drinking water in all 52 districts including Bhopal will develop from the District Mineral Funds. For this, the state government has given instructions to all in-charge ministers and collectors. For your information, let you know that there are approximately Rs 300 crore deposited in the District Mineral Funds, but it has not been used so far. According to the rules, 30 per cent of the revenue received in any district deposited in the District Mineral Funds.

By over the years, the District Mineral Funds have been kept unutilized by the municipal bodies and the panchayats. In such a situation, due to lack of financial resources, Kamal Nath government will now use it for the development of education, health and drinking water. According to information, not only is this but the government is listing the huge interest rates based loan information taken by local bodies and departments because government wants this loan to be repaid in any way.
