Republic Day celeberated with jubilation in state
Bhopal: On the occasion of the 70th Republic Day, the Governor Anandiben Patel hoisted the National Flag and addressed citizens in the state level programme held at Lal Parade ground of Bhopal.
Patel inspected the Republic Day Parade and took salute after the hoisting. The Police Band team played a tune of ‘Jana Gana Mana’ in the direction of the Sub-Inspector Sunil Katare amidst the jubilation fire. Governor released colourful balloons on the occasion.
Captivating Parade show held
The Commander S.D.O.P. Jawra district, Ashutosh Bagri (IPS) and Parade 2IC, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ashok Nagar Sandeep Kumar Ningwal led the Republic Day Parade after the jubilation fire.
Inspector L.L. Nayak led the C.I.S.F. parade. Similarly, Inspector Pradeep Pandey of Madhya Pradesh Special Armed Force, Inspector Ankush Parte of S.T.F., Inspector Pankaj Diwedi of District Police Force/Railway Police (Male), Sub Inspector B.K. Gami of Gujarat Reserve Police Force, Sub Inspector Poonam Katare of District Police Force (Female)/SAF, Company Commander D.R. Verma of Madhya Pradesh Home Guards, Assistant Jail Superintendent Vikas Tiwari of Jail Department (Male), Assistant Jail Superintendent of Jail Department Manisha Yadav of Jail Department (Female), Retired Navy Commander Uday Singh (Ex-Servicemen), Senior Under Officer Harsh Chaturvedi of N.C.C. Army Wing (Boys), Senior Cadet Captain Akash Yadav of N.C.C. Naval Wing, Senior Cadet Under Officer Piyush Bhadana of N.C.C. Air Wing, Senior Under Officer Ravina Telang of Senior Division N.C.C. Army Wing Girls, Comander Aditya Rathore of Scouts (Boys), Commander Rumeja Jaihra of Guides (Girls), Commander Yogesh Singh Sikarwar of Police (Boys), Commander Mubrisara Anjum of Shaurya Dal, Sub Inspector Prakash Narayan Sharma (Dog Squad) including 20 Platoons led the parade of their respective teams.
The team of Manipur Armed Police Platoon was led by the Sub Inspector Samson Waikhom during the Republic Day parade. The team of Gujarat Reserve Police Force was led by the Sub Inspector B.K. Gami. The Sub Inspector Prakash Narayan Sharma led the parade of Dog Squad.
Cultural programmes presented by School Students
Colourful cultural programmes were presented by school students of various schools after the parade. An enchanting Bhagoria dance was presented by the artists of the Culture Department followed by display of attractive tableaus on departmental schemes by 20 departments.
Prizes for best display
The team of the M.P. Special Armed Forces bagged the first prize for best parade display under the Armed Forces. Similarly, CISF and the team of the Jail Department (Male) bagged the second and third prize. Under the Non-Armed Forces category, N.C.C. Air Wing, N.C.C. Senior Girls and Shauya Dal bagged the first, second and third prize respectively.
Similarly, under the cultural programmes, DPS School- Neelbadh, Government Higher Secondary School-Anand Nagar, Saint Xavier School –BHEL and Sharda Vidya Mandir-Kerwa Road bagged first, second, third and consolation prize. In the series of exhibition based on departmental activities, Archaeology, Archives and Museums Department, Tourism department and Women and Child Development department bagged first, second and third prize for their tableau.-Window To News
