Annual sports meet held at LNCT World School

Bhopal, Jan 31 (WTN)-There is a vast canvas of career options to explore in different types of sports. “Students should be focused not only towards academics but also sports as well.” Says the director of LNCT World School Pooja Chouksey on the occasion of annual sports meet organised in the school. She adds that today sports and sportsmanship is appreciated at every level, also the active participation of girls in sports is also a good sign.
Pooja Chouksey the director of LNCT world school was the chief guest along with the Chief Coach of Madhya Pradesh Boxing Academy Roshanlal and the International Boxing Player Ruchir Srivas being the Guest of Honour on this occasion. The sports event started with the flag hoisting of each house followed by lighting of the sports torch.
Various events were organised during the sports meet in which the students took part enthusiastically. The sports day began with a march past by the students which was headed by the school head boy, head girl and the house captains. Later, students pledged in front of the chief guests to take part in every sport with a true sportsmanship. For the 200 meter flat race the first flap was given by the Chief Guest itself.
On this occasion, 200 and 400 meter hurdle race, relay race, martial art display, football, volleyball, Kabbadi matches etc were organised. The cultural sports dance during this occasion was the centre point of attraction. The concept of combination of physical exercise and dance was liked by everyone. The guest of honour, Boxing Coach Roshanlal and international player Ruchir Srivas boosted the confidence of the students by their words and also congratulated the school for the organisation of such sports day
