Government raises Pujaris’ honorarium three times
Kamal Nath Government's exercise to please the Brahmins before the Lok Sabha elections
FEB 02 (WTN) - Kamal Nath Government of the Madhya Pradesh has given a gift to the priest of the temples. The honorarium of the Pujaris has been increased by the government three times. Not only this, the state government will also provide the financial support for such temples which will take care of the cattle on their land. For your information, let you know that in the state, the Kamal Nath Government has created a new Spirituality Department and PC Sharma has given the charge of this this department. This move of Kamal Nath Government can be said to the answer to the allegation of the BJP in which the BJP accuses the Congress of being anti-Hindu.
Giving information about the decisions of the Cabinet, Minister PC Sharma said that such temples which do not have any land and controlled by the government. Such temples’ Pujaris who had received the honorarium of one thousand rupees earlier, now their honorarium will increase three times from January 1, and they will get 3,000 rupees every month.
Not only this, the honorarium of the Pujaris who work in the temple which has five acres of land has been enhanced from 700 rupees per month to 2,100 rupees, as well as the honorarium of the Pujaris who work in the temple which has 10 acres of land has been increased from 520 rupees per month to Rs 1,560. State Government claims that it will benefit more than 25 thousand Pujaris of the state.
At the same time, the state government says that the government will also help financially to such temples which will take care of the cattle by making cowshed on their land. Besides this, the honorarium of Molvis of the Mosques of Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board has also been increased.
Not only that, Kamal Nath Government is also working towards preserving the rivers of the state. According to the information, the respective format related to Mother Narmada, Mother Suryiputri, Mother Mandakini and Kshipra Trust, for the preservation of four rivers the Narmada, the Tapti, the Mandakini and the Kshipra, has been sent to the Finance Department and the General Administration Department. After the formation of these trusts, the policies will be created and implemented by the government for the conservation of these four rivers.
