Surgical Skills Training Workshop held in specially designed van at People’s Hospital and Medical College

(WTN)- People's Hospital, People's College of Medical Sciences & Research Centre Bhanpur Bhopal organized a two-day 'Basic Hands-On Surgical Skills' training workshop for surgeon doctors and medical students of the college. The workshop was conducted in a mobile van specially designed and created by the company Johnson and Johnson for educating surgeons and medical students to enhance their surgical skills. Megha Vijaywargia, Trustee and Director People's Group inaugurated the workshop.
The students were appreciated the idea of a hands-on surgical training workshop in the van. This was a unique learning experience of its kind for all.
In the hands-on training workshop the participants were introduced to various methods of surgery adopted in general-surgery, gynecology, treatment of ear nose throat and ailments related to bone and joints etc by experts Dr. Vivek Kanhare (Cardiac-Surgeon), Dr. Sandesh Verma (Laparoscopic Surgeon), Dr. Ajit Sevkani ( Laparoscopy & Hepatobiliary surgeon) and Dr. Priya Bhave Chitavaar Gynecologist. Training of modern surgical methods like suturing and laparoscopy was also provided to the post graduate medical students.
The workshop was successfully coordinated by Dr. A.N.Mhsake Medical Director People's Hospital and Dr. Nitin Garg Head - Department of Surgery, People's College of Medical Sciences. Dr. Garg informed that the training workshop was quite commendable and very successfully undertaken by the participants. In order to promote the knowledge and skills of the medical students and doctors; to keep up with modern medicine programs such training and workshops in various subjects are continuously organized by Peoples Hospital - People's College of Medical Sciences & Research Centre. - Window To News
