Steam baths from 65 types of herbs - IGRMS

Bhopal: The Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya is organising National Tribal Healers Workshop at the Sangrahalaya premises, Bhopal from 19th to 23rd February 2019. Shikha Dubey, IAS (Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Ayush, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh) will be inaugurated the workshop at 11.30 am on 19th February at Mandapam of the Manav Sangrahalaya. The representatives from Tribal Healers & Tribal Research Institute from different places in Country are participating in this workshop.

The people of the city can treat their old and complicated diseases with medicines made to herbs from all tribal healers. The steam bath of Kerala has special importance in the workshop. Steam room is made to take steam. The steam room closes around and there are small pores to steam it. In this way, the patient is kept in that room for approximately 10 to 12 minutes it until more sweat. About 65 types of herbs are boiled in a special vessel in steam bath. Massages are done before this. After this the whole body of the patient is steamed. By which the body's follicles open well. And it seems to cause excessive sweating. With this sweat, our body get poison slip out. At the same time, making proper corrections in our diet and lifestyle creates our immune system, resulting in the recovery. This workshop is open from 11.00 am to 8:00 pm at Mandapam of the Manav Sangrahalaya.-Window To News
