Museum of Man is to engage and educate the community- Prof. Bhattacharya
Bhopal, March 1 (WTN)- Students from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi visited Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya today. The students saw important cultural traditions which are on the verge of extinction in the Rock-art Heritage & Tribal Habitat open-air exhibitions of Manav Sangrahalaya.
Young students visited exhibitions developed with traditional knowledge and ethical values combined with modern society and said we observed our nation has a very rich culture. On this occasion, Prof. Prodyut Bhattacharya, Professor, Natural Resources Management told that, a primary role of Museum of Man is to engage and educate the community. They were to visit to this exhibition guided by Dr. Surya Kumar Pandey, Dr. P. Shankara Rao and Dr. Sudeepa Roy of IGRMS.
Change in visiting hours from Today
The visiting hours of Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya is getting changed from 1st March, 2019. The new timings from 1st March to 31st August, 2019 for all the open air and indoor exhibitions of the Manav Sangrahalaya will be open from 11.00 am to 6.30 pm. The Sangrahalaya would remain closed on Mondays and all National Holidays. - Window To News
