Kalahandi University student visits IGRMS

Bhopal, Apr 10 2019: Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya is working for national integration, and promotes research and training for salvage and revitalization of vanishing but valuable cultural traditions. In this connection, Two Faculty members and 9 students of the Department of Anthropology from Kalahandi University of Odisha are on a five-day visit to IGRMS on academic excursions.
Under the visit they were shown an introductory film of IGMRS and the Riyang tribe of Tripura at the Rock-Art Heritage conference hall of Museum. During the programme, Joint Director, Dilip Singh and Administrative Officer D.S.Rao of the museum conveyed the importance and specificity of the museum by addressing them. Today on its five-day educational tour, the group of students and faculty members visited the Rock-Art Heritage, Tribal Habitat open air exhibition premises and library of the Museum. – Window To News
