AUG 08 (WTN) - An exhibition of abstract paintings by famous Bhopal painter Preeti Nigam will be set up in Zurich, Switzerland from 15 to 19 August. Preeti, a teacher of fine arts in a private school in Bhopal and director of ‘Rangayan’ Art Gallery, is the only painter selected from India to represent India at the Swiss Art Expo - 2019 globally. The exhibition, held in Zurich, Switzerland, is being sponsored by Samsung International.
Regarding her painting, Preeti Nigam says that the way Indian philosophy envisages both real and formless forms; Visual art in that way has a tangible and intangible tradition. Abstract art emphasizes the possibilities of exploring its audience beyond the boundaries of shape and composition.
