Agri Services Company EM3 Launches Game Changing Technology
The new age agri-services company, EM3 AgriServices, today announced the launch of its game-changing digital platform that leverages Internet technology, mobile telecom services, financial services and cloud technologies that will significantly increase its reach of farm mechanisation and enable the digital empowerment of the farmers in Madhya Pradesh.
Further, it will allow EM3 to increase its presence in the state through the franchise model. It plans to increase its Samadhan Kendras to 100 by end of 2017 through the franchise route thereby creating 2000+ new job opportunities for agri-professionals in the state.
The farmer facing dedicated App will allow for an intuitive, convenient and easy way to place orders for renting farm equipment and services, with a built in option of paying online via the Payment Wallet. For EM3, the digital platform will enable it to process orders swiftly. Once its franchise centres are operational, the digital platform will enable it to pass the orders on to the nearest franchise through location based mapping.

EM3 has been operating in MP since July 2014 through a network of farm centres called Samadhan Kendras and employs 150+ people. Each centre, managed through IT-enabled systems and manned by agri-professionals, is equipped to handle a comprehensive suite of basic and precision farm operations throughout the entire crop production cycle.
With its motto of “Smart India is a Smart Kisaan”, EM3’s central agenda is to increase farmer prosperity by offering agricultural and farm mechanisation services that are easily accessible and affordable, via the pay per use model. As per industry estimates, farm mechanisation is expected to cut cultivation cost by 25% and raise productivity by 20% and will be critical in boosting farmers income.
In our country where farm mechanisation penetration is low, EM3 is committed to playing a significant role in enabling our farmers to improve their productivity and their lives by providing accessible technology. Our pay per use model enables farmers to deploy mechanisation technology without any investments in the asset. Today, we are launching our new technology platform in MP first and it’s a confirmation of our commitment to furthering our vision of ‘Smart India is a Smart Kisaan’. Farmers can now access agriculture services, superior farming technologies and latest equipment at affordable costs. These measures will increase their farm output and prosperity and will lead to the inclusive growth of the nation" said Rohtash Mal, Chairman, EM3 AgriServices.
Founded in 2014, by Rohtash Mal, and Adwitiya Mal, EM3 AgriServices wants to change the way farming is done in India by Uprising farm services. It offers farmers affordable, easy and convenient access to agricultural farm equipment and services throughout the farming value chain, on a pay per use model that makes the latest global technologies and equipment available to even the smallest farmer. Besides the rental of farm equipment such as tractors, EM3’s services include soil analysis, seedbed preparation, sowing, fertilizer application, weed/pest control, top dressing, harvesting and post harvest operations.
EM3 is currently present in Madhya Pradesh through 10 Samadhan Kendras which employs 150 people. Each Kendra is managed through robust processes, IT-enabled systems and manned by agronomy and agriculture technology professionals. In Gujarat, EM3 has been working with potato farmers in partnership with multinational McCain Foods (India), a maker of French fries and potato specialities. EM3 has raised equity funding from Soros Economic Development Fund.
